Navigating Life’s Unexpected Moments

I find myself, along with my very understanding wife, a parent again. Find some of my comments here; some might be thoughtful, but most will just be random observations about embracing or coping with life’s surprises. (I’m not all that introspective.) Maybe some of my experiences will make you laugh, giggle, or nod your head in agreement. I hope so.

Everything I write on this site is real, no made-up stories, except maybe names, and specifics unrelated to the story or comment.

Each story, random comment, observation, and rant is drawn from genuine moments that reveal life’s beautiful and frustrating uncertainties. Yes, it’s all beautiful after the dust settles, but oh boy, those in-between moments, wow!

What inspired this Journal?

I started thinking that we are probably not unique in being parents – again, in our golden years, and perhaps sharing some experiences would be helpful to me and maybe others in a similar place in their lives.

Can you comment on my comments?

Yes, but if things get too chaotic, I’ll switch the comments off. – I’m doing this to relieve stress, not add to it.

Embrace Life’s Surprises and Moments of Joy
